Behind every Silvia Tcherassi piece, there is a story that can only come to life through the hands of the talented women in our production facilities in Barranquilla, Colombia.

We spoke to Vera Tcherassi, who along with her daughter Silvia, works closely with these masterful women on the entire confection process.“There is a great source of pride that results in being a part of this team,” she shares.“All of the techniques we currently implement were learned empirically, and it is so gratifying to see how they have brought us to where we are today.”

Over 25 years of experience, discipline and passion are what give these women the ability to turn classic cotton fabric or a traditional artisanal bag into covetable pieces of timeless appeal.
