Capri alla Tcherassi

A memorable evening celebrating yet another brand milestone, our boutique opening in the idyllic island of Capri. Along with her family, Silvia Tcherassi welcomed guests like Nieves Alvarez, Fiona Swarovski, Cecilia Bolocco and Barbara Borghini to the quaint Villa Margherita restaurant surrounded by swaying olive trees and splendid views of the sea. “Everything from the cuisine, to the staff and encircling landscape feels thoroughly Capri to me. There is of course glamour to the island, but there is also a sense of ease. I wanted the night to evoke precisely that,” shared the designer.

Taking in the sunset’s warm glow from the restaurant’s privileged location, guests mingled listening to live saxophone music before moving on to the pergola to savour classic Italian fare crafted with local ingredients and paired with exquisite wine. In true Tcherassi fashion, no component went unexamined and all elements from the tablescape to the décor was deliberately considered, reflecting the brand’s proclivity for elevating details and the designer’s life-long passion for hosting. From the hand-painted limoncello illustrations on the menu, to the custom-designed linen tablecloths, monogrammed napkins and the limited-edition handheld fans gifted to each guest, the memorable night truly evoked la dolce vita.

Upon the meal’s conclusion, attendees enjoyed more conversation and laughs. “I loved seeing how everyone came together as if they’d known each other for years. As expected, the locals were characteristically hospitable and welcoming to our other guests who came from all over the world," finalized Tcherassi.
