Elaborated with high-quality threads and crafted in various shapes and sizes, it can take up to a week to manufacture each piece. Made exclusively by artisan women, the handwoven buckets are then taken to our production facilities where they are further embellished with Swarovski crystals and fabrics such as silks and lace. Oftentimes, they are even painted by hand. Mochilas are sacred to the Wayuu, which is why our intervention is non-invasive and respectful of their inherent symbolism.
