For over 20 years the beloved city of Cartagena, Colombia has been an integral part of our brand’s DNA, inspiring some of the firm’s most memorable designs and holding some of our fondest memories filled with laughter, dancing and joy.
Along with Central America and the islands of San Andrés and Providencia, the recent path of Hurricane Iota left a wake of destruction and damage in Cartagena, flooding 70% of the city. This comes at a particularly difficult time for locals, as the global pandemic has put a halt in the city’s most important income, tourism.
